China Mobile: SMS Payment Gateway…
Recently China Mobile (中国移动) introduced a new way to charge up your account. Instead of calling up 13800138000 and wading through a voice tree (Note that I wouldn’t bother with the english version as it’s not really intelligible…) you can charge up (冲资) directly via SMS.
Just send an SMS containing CZ+your_card_number to 10086. For example:
CZ091371389002873896
If you don’t see a message in a few moments that says 操作已成功 (operation already successful) then you should verify that you entered the number correctly…
Now to remember how to check my account balance via SMS… Oh, and SMS banking!
